To enable dictation on a Mac, follow these steps:

• Open System Settings:

Click the Apple logo  at the top left of your screen and choose System Settings (or System Preferences in older macOS versions).

• Go to Keyboard Settings:

In System Settings, click Keyboard on the left.

• Enable Dictation:

Scroll down and find Dictation.

• Turn on Dictation by toggling the switch.

• Choose your preferred language and shortcut for starting dictation (default is Press Control twice).

• Optional - Enable Enhanced Dictation (Offline):

If available, download Enhanced Dictation for offline use and faster response.
