π₯οΈ Step 1: Get the RDP Credentials π
To connect to our Rancher training server, you'll need the RDP credentials. These will be provided during the training session. Make sure you have:

IP Address or Server Name

Username
-
Password
Ensure that you have Remote Desktop installed on your local machine. For Windows, this is built-in. For macOS or Linux, you may need to download it.
π² Step 2: Launching Remote Desktop

Open Remote Desktop Connection on your device.

On Windows, simply type
Remote Desktop Connectionin the start menu. -
On macOS or Linux, launch your preferred RDP app (like Microsoft Remote Desktop).

Enter the Server IP or Name provided:
Enter the server address into the 'Computer' field.
- Hit Connect to access the Rancher server.
π οΈ Step 3: Logging into Rancher
Once you're connected via RDP, you'll see the desktop of our server environment. Rancher is already installed and running!

Open your web browser on the server.

Navigate to the Rancher URL (usually
http://localhost:8080or another specified address). -
Log in with the credentials provided.
π Step 4: Create Your First Cluster
Now that youβre logged into Rancher, letβs create your first Kubernetes cluster!

On the Rancher dashboard, click βAdd Clusterβ.

Follow the prompts to set up a cluster using the default settings.
